Economic Releases for Wednesday, 6th June 2011

A relatively light day for economic releases today. Amongst the more significant releases are the EMU's PPI releases; which are expected to show a small YoY dip to 6.6% despite an MoM anticipated rise to 0.8%. At the same time, three prominent US financial figures will be speaking throughout the day.
  • Philadelphia Fed's Plosser Speech: 0730 GMT;
  • EMU Sentix Investor Confidence: 0830 GMT;
  • EMU Producer Price Index MoM & YoY: 0900 GMT;
  • Canadian Building Permits: 1230 GMT;
  • Canadian Ivey Purchasing Managers Index: 1400 GMT;
  • Treasury's Geithner Speech: 1715 GMT;
  • Fed's Fisher's Speech: 2130 GMT;
  • UK BRC Retail Sales Monitor: 2301 GMT;
  • Australia AiG Performance of Construction Index: 2330 GMT.
